The new colour shade is part of TVS’s festive season lineup
TheTVS Ronin has received a new update in the colour department. This new colour, Nimbus Grey comes at a price point of ₹ 1,72,700. In terms of pricing, the Ronin Special Edition commands a premium of ₹4,000 over the top-of-the-line Ronin TD variant.
This new colour update comes with a short blacked out visor, blacked out headlight bezel and the tip of the exhaust which was previously silver is now blackened too. To complete the finish now the bike also gets black decals and the TVS logo. This does complement well with the design and the golden forks making them stand out more against the dark theme of the bike. Also the offset console which was an eyesore previously now gets hidden behind the short visor. At the base of all this is the triple tone colour-scheme which includes grey white and red stripes.
The bike also gets pre-fitted accessories such as a USB charger, visor, and a differently designed EFI cover are included with the Special Edition.
The TVS Ronin Special Edition retains its mechanical configuration, utilising the same 225.9 cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, which makes 20.1 bhp at 7,750 rpm and 19.93 Nm at 3,750 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and features a slipper clutch.
The motorcycle is equipped with 41 mm USD front fork and a 7-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking performance is delivered by a 300 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc, both equipped with dual-channel ABS. Notable features include a distinctive T-shaped LED daytime running light (DRL), an LED headlamp, two selectable riding modes (Rain and Urban), adjustable levers, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The TVS Ronin competes with the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
