The Indian tyre maker is already in talks with Piaggio to become its global tyre supplier.

One of India’s leading two-wheeler tyre manufacturers, Eurogrip Tyres, is aiming to make it big in the international markets. The Madurai-based tyre maker is already performing quite well in domestic markets and has set its sights on being a strong aftermarket player on a global scale.

For the same, Eurogrip Tyres has already been present in the Latin-American as well as ASEAN markets for a few years now. In 2019, it established itself in Europe, and Eurogrip tyres are retailed in 12 European countries.

The next big step for the marque is America. From July 2025, it started offering aftermarket tyre solutions in the larger-sizes for Harley-Davidson models and hopefully, the rest shall follow soon enough. With these strategic involvements, Eurogrip Tyres aims to triple its exports growth by the end of 2030, which currently accounts for 10-12 percent of its revenue.

Another feather in the Indian brand’s cap is that it has already entered into talks with Piaggio to become its OE partner for global products. Currently, the India-made Aprilia RS 457 and Tuono 457 are sold across the world with the grippy Protorq Extreme tyres. Hopefully, this partnership yields well and we get to see more such integrations on bigger and meaner machines as well.
