Uber Pet Service Now Launched In Delhi And Mumbai

Ride-hailing major Uber has extended its Uber Pet service to Delhi and Mumbai. This expansion follows the initial launch in Bengaluru last year, bringing the availability to three Indian cities now where pet parents can now travel with their animal companions.

The service offers flexibility with both on-demand booking and reservation options. According to the company, the new on-demand feature removes the need for pet owners to leave their animals behind. 

This announcement makes Uber Pet a mobility solution for those who want to travel with their pets.

What Is Uber Pet

Uber Pet is a pet-friendly ride option for those looking hire drivers who are comfortable transporting pets in their vehicles. Uber Pet service lets the user bring either one dog or one cat with you on your Uber rides.

Uber has formed a partnership with Heads Up for Tails (HUFT), an Indian pet care brand. Under this collaboration, those hiring Uber Pet service will get special benefits for travelling with pets to HUFT locations in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. This also includes exclusive discounts on Uber Pet rides. 

Users can access additional perks at HUFT outlets by presenting their Uber Pet receipts.
