Staggering numbers have come up from the testing of the F77 data.
Ultraviolette Automotive is revving up the electric vehicle (EV) market with news about its F77 motorcycle. The F77 has aced a grueling test program, showcasing not only exceptional durability but also impressive range and eco-friendly performance. This comes just ahead of its upcoming product launch scheduled for April 24, which is likely to be an upgraded version of the F77.
In a remarkable feat, a single F77 test motorcycle clocked a staggering 1,00,241 kilometers, while retaining over 95% of its original battery capacity. This translates to years of reliable performance with minimal battery degradation – a major concern for many electric vehicle (EV) buyers.
Further upping the F77's game, ARAI testing revealed an impressive IDC range of 304 kilometers on a single charge. But the good news doesn't stop there. To solidify their belief in the F77's battery technology, Ultraviolette is offering an industry-leading 8,00,000 kilometer battery warranty. This extended coverage surpasses anything currently available in the EV market, giving riders unparalleled peace of mind.
The F77's eco-friendly credentials are equally impressive. Over the testing period, the motorcycle achieved an average energy efficiency of 60.88 Wh/km, translating to significant energy savings. This efficiency directly translates to a CO2 emission reduction of 5713.73 kg, a substantial contribution to a cleaner environment.
Interestingly, the testing data reveals rider preferences. The most used mode was unsurprisingly Ballistic (63479.5 km), followed by Combat (12376.7 km) and Glide (24384.7 km). This highlights the F77's versatility, catering to riders who enjoy a variety of riding styles.
The testing program was extensive, spanning a total of 2,113 hours. During this period, the motorcycle consumed 6396.98 kWh of energy, with an impressive 4% energy recovered through regenerative braking. This recovered energy translates to a significant range boost, further enhancing the F77's efficiency.
The Ultraviolette F77 is an electric sports bike that packs a punch. It comes in three variants, with the base model offering a mid-mounted electric motor with a claimed output of 27 kW (around 39 bhp) and 95 Nm of peak torque. This translates to a respectable 140 kmph top speed. The top-spec F77 Space Edition bumps things up to 30.2 kW (approximately 40 bhp) and 100 Nm of peak torque, resulting in a claimed top speed of 152 kmph. The base model starts at ₹ 3,80,000, while the Recon comes in at ₹ 4,55,000. The feature-packed Space Edition tops out at ₹ 5,60,000. (all prices, Ex-showroom Bengaluru)
