Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler startup — Ultraviolette — is slowly spreading its wings, entering the UK market after foraying into Europe earlier this year.
Ultraviolette has officially entered the United Kingdom with the launch of its flagship electric motorcycles—the F77 Mach 2 Recon and the F77 SuperStreet Recon. This marks the company’s latest global expansion after its recent rollout across Europe. The launch is in collaboration with MotoMondo, Ultraviolette’s exclusive distribution partner in the region.
With strong investor backing and advanced R&D capabilities, Ultraviolette continues to expand its footprint in the performance electric motorcycle segment. Drawing inspiration from aeronautics, the company’s F77 series blends futuristic design with cutting-edge engineering.
The F77 Mach 2 Recon carries a race-inspired, aggressive stance designed for riders who seek a high-adrenaline, performance-driven experience. On the other hand, the F77 SuperStreet Recon prioritises everyday usability with a more upright riding posture, offering balanced ergonomics without compromising excitement. The company says that the two models will cater to a wide range of riding preferences within the UK’s vibrant motorcycling community.

Speaking on this occasion, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-founder of Ultraviolette, said “It is a proud moment for us as we bring advanced performance and innovation to riders across the UK. With progression on the UK-India Free Trade Agreement, we believe it will further enhance the ease of bringing advanced mobility technology to the region and strengthen cross-border collaboration.”
Powering the Ultraviolette F77 range is a 30 kW electric motor that delivers 100 Nm of peak torque. The electric bike can clock a top speed of 155 kmph. It gets a 10.3 kWh battery that delivers an impressive range of up to 323 km (IDC). The motorcycles are equipped with Ultraviolette’s proprietary Violette A.I. system, along with Bosch’s dual-channel ABS. Riders also benefit from 10 levels of regenerative braking, four levels of traction control, Dynamic Stability Control, and a comprehensive suite of safety and performance features, ensuring a technologically advanced and engaging riding experience.

Earlier this year, Ultraviolette showcased its future product roadmap, including the biggest highlight — the X-47 Crossover. It is the world’s first motorcycle that comes with a radar-based ADAS as standard. Other models part of Ultraviolette’s future roadmap include the Tesseract scooter, and the Shockwave electric dirt bike.
