Ultraviolette Automotive has announced a new benchmark setting warranty program for its flagship F77 electric motorcycle. This industry-first warranty offers a staggering 8 lakh kilometers of coverage on the battery and drivetrain. It shatters previous benchmarks and sets a new standard for customer confidence.
This warranty stems from Ultraviolette's unwavering commitment to innovation and battery expertise. During rigorous testing, an F77 test motorcycle surpassed a remarkable 1 lakh kilometers while retaining an impressive 95 percent of its original battery capacity. This feat underlines the F77's exceptional durability.
Ultraviolette's new warranty program caters to diverse customer needs with three distinct packages:
UV Care Max (New): It has an unparalleled 8 years or 800,000 kilometers of warranty coverage, an eightfold increase over previous options, which maxed out at 5 years or 50,000 kilometers.
UV Care: This base package now provides a warranty of 3 years or 60,000 kilometers, doubling the previous coverage of 3 years or 30,000 kilometers.
UV Care+: Ideal for those seeking extended protection, UV Care+ offers a warranty of 5 years or 100,000 kilometers, doubling the prior limit of 5 years or 50,000 kilometers.
Warranty Pack | Duration | Prev km Limit | Updated km Limit | Standard Availability (F77 Variants) | Upgradable for (F77 Variants) |
UV Care | 3 years | 30,000 km | 60,000 km | Original | - |
UV Care+ | 5 years | 50,000 km | 100,000 km | Recon | Original |
UV Care Max | 8 years | 100,000 km | 800,000 km | - | Recon |
The Ultraviolette F77 electric motorcycle comes in three variants: Original, Recon, and the limited edition Space. Battery sizes differ between the variants, with the Original sporting a 7.1 kWh pack, while the Recon and Space get a larger 10.1 kWh unit. This directly impacts range, with the Original offering an IDC range of 206 km on a single charge. The Recon and Space boast a significantly higher IDC range of 307 km, thanks to their larger batteries. All variants share the same powerful electric motor, rated at 29 kW (Recon and Space) or 27 kW (Original), delivering impressive acceleration and a top speed of around 140-147 kmph depending on the variant.
Previously, all warranty packages offered significantly less coverage. This new program by Ultraviolette ensures the longevity and reliability of their F77 motorcycles.
