Ather Energy is already developing its next new scooter in full swing. We already know that it will be called ‘Rizta’, now Ather’s CEO Tarun Mehta has showcased the seat of this new scooter. For the uninitiated, the upcoming Ather Rizta will be a family electric scooter, so it will be designed to accommodate the big Indian family in full comfort.
So right away the size of the Ather Rizta’s seat is significantly bigger than the one you find with the 450X. But not only that, the reel also showcases how roomy the seat is when compared to its chief rival: the Ola S1. The newly designed seat also looks spacious and well-contoured with soft cushioning. Although both the 450 X and Rizta scooters are based on the same platform, the Rizta will sport a completely different body design, and it will also be larger in shape.
Furthermore, spy shots of the Ather Rizta being tested had surfaced online a few days ago. The photos showcased the Rizta being ridden with two people onboard. Both the rider and pillion appeared to be seated pretty comfortably, something that the current-gen 450X scooter doesn’t quite manage that well.
Ather Energy is also claiming that the Rizta will have the largest seat in the market. Now, when it comes to comfortable seats, the TVS Jupiter 125 has a nice, big, plush comfortable seat. Will the new Ather Rizta’s seat be more comfortable than the Jupiter’s seat too? That remains to be seen.
