Kia India’s upcoming Syros EV has been captured completely undisguised for the first time. Real-world images shared by an online user show the production-spec electric SUV parked openly on a public road in Bengaluru during what appears to be an official television commercial (TVC) production shoot. This appearance indicates that the sub-4-metre vehicle has entered its final pre-launch phase, with a commercial rollout expected to take place in the coming weeks.
The newly leaked images reveal that the Syros EV preserves the upright stance, boxy silhouette, and tallboy proportions of its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart. Finished in an Ivory Silver Matte shade, the vehicle features a closed-off front fascia replacing the traditional radiator grille. The front bumper has been reprofiled with a body-coloured, trapezoidal lower section, though it retains the signature vertically stacked 'ice cube' LED daytime running lights and main headlamp clusters.

The side profile showcases chunky wheel arches, a distinctive thick B-pillar, and a rising window line kink at the C-pillar. Notably, the high-voltage charging port has been neatly integrated into the front-left fender. The vehicle rides on unique 17-inch aero-optimised alloy wheels designed to cut down aerodynamic drag and enhance highway rolling efficiency. At the rear, the high-mounted L-shaped vertical LED tail lamps remain intact, while the bumper gets modified body-coloured trapezoidal inserts to match the nose treatment, alongside a dedicated EV tailgate badge.
The Syros EV is expected to inherit its dashboard layout and major interior features from the ICE model. Mechanically, the vehicle is reported to share its electric architecture and motor configurations with the Carens Clavis EV and the Hyundai Creta EV. It will likely be offered with two lithium-ion battery configurations paired to a front-mounted electric motor: a standard-range 42 kWh battery pack and a premium long-range 51.4 kWh pack.
