Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer VinFast on Tuesday inked a deal with Global Assure to establish its customer service infrastructure ahead of its much-anticipated entry into the Indian automotive market. The partnership will let VinFast deliver enhanced customer support as it prepares to introduce its premium electric SUV models to India.
Under the new arrangement, Global Assure will manage critical customer service functions including round-the-clock call centre operations, pan-India emergency roadside support, mobile charging services, and mobile repair units. Indian customers will access these services through the dedicated helpline 1800-571-8888 or via email at [email protected].
The collaboration supports VinFast's planned launch of two flagship electric SUV models -- the VF 7 and VF 6 -- to the Indian market.
"As VinFast is gearing up to launch its premium electric SUVs - the VF 7 and VF 6 in India market, this partnership underlines the brand’s commitment to ensure prompt, dependable, and customer-focused support across the country. Global Assure’s strong capabilities and nationwide reach are well aligned with our commitment to quality, convenience, and care," Pham Sanh Chau, VinFast CEO Asia, said in a statement.
The comprehensive service structure includes four core support categories designed to address diverse customer needs across India's vast geography.
The 24/7 customer support system features a specialised call centre with professionally trained staff ready to handle customer inquiries and provide immediate assistance around the clock.
Nationwide roadside assistance ensures emergency support coverage across all Indian territories, guaranteeing customers receive help regardless of their location or time of need.
Mobile charging solutions deliver on-demand power services, providing convenient charging access wherever customers require electrical power for their vehicles.
Mobile service operations use a dedicated fleet of emergency response vehicles equipped with tools and parts necessary to provide immediate on-site assistance during unexpected vehicle breakdowns and handle basic repair requirements.
VinFast operates as a subsidiary of Vietnam's Vingroup JSC, one of the country's largest business conglomerates, and maintains public trading status on NASDAQ under ticker symbol VFS. The company has positioned itself as a dedicated electric vehicle manufacturer committed to making electric mobility accessible to global consumers.
