Vivo today unveiled its latest flagship X100 series smartphones and a new smartwatch at an event held in China. The X100 series includes the standard Vivo X100 model and a higher-end Vivo X100 Pro version.
The new X100 series is the successor to last year's X90 phones with upgraded specs and features. Both phones have a slim design with a protruding circular rear camera module. They sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with curved edges, 1.5K resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.

Being camera phones, the X100 and X100 Pro feature a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 50MP primary sensor and ultra-wide and telephoto lenses. The Pro model has a slightly superior design with a larger 50MP primary camera and 50MP periscope telephoto lens. Both phones are capable of 4K video recording and are powered by Vivo's custom V3 imaging chip for advanced photography.
Under the hood, the X100 series is equipped with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chip and offers up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The Pro model adds support for the new 50W wireless charging standard. The software is OriginOS 4, based on Android 14.
The X100 starts at CNY 3,999, while the X100 Pro ranges from CNY 4,999 to 5,999, depending on storage configuration. Both phones offer 5G, WiFi-7, Bluetooth 5.3, and IP68 water/dust resistance. Color options include Star Trail Blue, Sunset Orange, White Moonlight, and Cheyne Black.
The X100 series aims to cement Vivo's position in the premium smartphone segment with its new flagship chipset, displays, and photography features. Still, how their specs and capabilities compare to upcoming high-end Android competitors remains to be seen.
