The Swedish automaker says “customers are guaranteed a 65 per cent buyback of the vehicle’s ex-showroom price at the end of the three-year tenure.”
Volvo Car India has announced a special incentive on the XC60 luxury SUV, bringing up to 65 per cent of “assured” buyback after three years. Under the new programme, the Swedish automaker says “customers are guaranteed a 65 per cent buyback of the vehicle’s ex-showroom price at the end of the three-year tenure.” The Volvo XC60 is priced at ₹69.60 lakh (ex-showroom) for the single variant sold in India.
The Volvo XC60 has been a long-running nameplate globally, and is also the brand’s bestselling car worldwide. The latest iteration was updated last year, bringing a second major update to the current generation offering. The new buyback programme aims to make the model more lucrative for buyers, as it takes on the BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Audi Q5, and Lexus NX in the segment.
Power on the Volvo XC60 comes from the 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine tuned for 248 bhp and 360 Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The engine comes with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, aimed to improve low-end acceleration and fuel efficiency. Visually, the XC60 facelift gets a new grille, new 19-inch alloy wheels, and a new colour option. The cabin gets bigger changes in the form of a freestanding portrait-style 11.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the Google OS. It also gets a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset to help process it faster.
Other upgrades include a 12.3-inch digital instrument console, a 1410-watt Bowers & Wilkins sound system with 15 speakers, Nappa leather upholstery, front massage seats, and more. The Volvo XC60 also packs Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, eight airbags, and more.
