The Volvo EX30 will be the first EV to launch in this list, expected later this month. Positioned as the smallest EV in Volvo’s India lineup, it blends Scandinavian minimalism with cutting-edge electric mobility. The EX30 will feature a 69 kWh battery pack with a claimed driving range of up to 480 km, making it suitable for both city commutes and longer highway runs.

Mercedes-Benz CLA with EQ Tech

Launch: Late 2025
Expected Price: ₹65 lakh (ex-showroom)

Mercedes-Benz is bringing its latest generation CLA with EQ technology to India. This luxury EV sedan is expected to set benchmarks in efficiency with its 85 kWh battery pack and an impressive range of up to 792 km on a single charge. Positioned in the premium mid-size segment, the CLA with EQ Tech will combine futuristic design, advanced tech features, and luxury comfort.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara

Launch: Late 2025
Expected Price: ₹20–25 lakh (ex-showroom)

The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara marks the carmaker’s entry into the electric space and is expected to be one of the most significant launches of 2025. The SUV will be manufactured exclusively at Maruti Suzuki’s Hansalpur plant in Gujarat, with exports planned to international markets. Equipped with a 61 kWh battery pack and a 500 km claimed range, the e Vitara aims to strike the right balance between affordability, practicality, and performance — making it a strong contender in India’s mainstream EV market.

Tata Sierra EV

Tata Sierra

The legendary Tata Sierra is making a comeback, this time as an electric SUV. First showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo, the Tata Sierra EV will be Tata Motors’ flagship EV. The SUV is expected to offer multiple battery pack and powertrain options, and there are strong chances it will get an all-wheel-drive variant, similar to the Harrier EV. Audi Q6 e-tron

Globally unveiled in March 2024 and showcased in India in August, the Audi Q6 e-tron is a midsize luxury electric SUV positioned between the Q4 and Q8 e-tron. Backed by a 100 kWh battery pack and a range of 625 km, it is designed to deliver premium performance, long-distance capability, and advanced technology features. With Audi India yet to announce prices, the Q6 e-tron is one of the most anticipated luxury EVs of 2025.
