Xiaomi has launched its X Pro QLED Series and Smart TV X Series 2024 Edition in India. The new lineup, unveiled on Tuesday, promises to offer superior viewing experiences and is packed with features, including QLED technology, Dolby Vision support, and MEMC, across various price points.
The X Pro QLED Series is the flagship offering and is available in three sizes: 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. These televisions boast 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) displays with quantum dot technology, offering better contrast, vivid colours, and improved brightness. The series features Xiaomi's proprietary Vivid Picture Engine 2 technology, which optimizes colour reproduction and contrast, alongside Dolby Vision support for HDR content. With a 94% DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, these TVs promise to deliver stunning visual fidelity.
The X Pro QLED Series features MEMC (Motion Estimation Motion Compensation) technology for smooth motion handling and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) to improve gaming performance. The design is sleek and modern, with narrow bezels sporting an aluminium finish.
The X Pro QLED Series features a 30W dual speaker setup. This audio system is enhanced by Dolby Audio, DTS:X, and DTS Virtual technology support.
Under the hood, these TVs are powered by a quad-core Cortex-A55 chip paired with a Mali G52 MC1 GPU. They have 2GB of RAM and a generous 32GB of storage. The smart TV experience is powered by Google TV with Xiaomi's PatchWall UI overlay, offering a user-friendly interface and access to a wide range of streaming services and apps.
Alongside the premium QLED offerings, Xiaomi also introduced the Smart TV X Series 2024 Edition in 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch sizes. These TVs share many features with their QLED counterparts but at more accessible price points. They maintain the 4K resolution displays, including Dolby Vision support, MEMC with Reality Flow, and Vivid Picture Engine 2. The X Series has a premium ultra-thin, metal bezel-less design and 30W speakers with Dolby Audio.
Both series offer extensive connectivity options to cater to modern entertainment setups. They include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) with 2x2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, three HDMI 2.1 ports (one with eARC support), and two USB 2.0 ports. Additional connectivity options include S/PDIF, Ethernet, and support for various video codecs, including AV1, H.265, H.264, VP9, and more. The TVs have a Mi Voice remote featuring dedicated buttons for popular streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, YouTube, and Sony Liv.
The X Pro QLED Series is priced with the 43-inch model at Rs 34,999, the 55-inch at Rs 49,999, and the 65-inch at Rs 62,999. The Smart TV X Series 2024 Edition offers even more affordable options, with the 43-inch priced at Rs 28,999, the 50-inch at Rs 35,999, and the 55-inch at Rs 39,999.
Both series will be available for purchase starting August 30 through multiple channels, including mi.com and Amazon.in, Flipkart, and Xiaomi Retail stores.
