This benefit is being offered as part of the brand’s 70th Foundation Day celebrations.
Yamaha has introduced a special price benefit worth ₹7,000 with both the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid Street Rally which will aid customers to save up to ₹10,000 on the scooter’s final on-road price. While Yamaha has not mentioned any timeline as to how long this benefit will be available, and the specifics of the benefits — it has introduced the same to celebrate its 70th Foundation Day. So for the time being the Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid Street Rally will now cost ₹93,065 which is quite the price slash given that it retailed for ₹1,01,276 (on-road, Delhi) before the price drop. Here’s the updated price list with the new discount.
Model | Variant | Colors Available | New Price (Ex-showroom, Delhi) |
Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid | Drum | Cyan Blue, Metallic Black and Matte Red | ₹79,340 |
Disc | Cyan Blue, Metallic Black, Matte Red, Racing Blue and Dark Matte Blue | ₹86,430 | |
Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid Street Rally | Disc | Ice Fluo Vermillion, Cyber Green and Matte Black | ₹92,970 |
The price benefit will continue to be offered along with the brand’s 10-year “total warranty” program as standard. This includes 2-years of standard warranty, plus 8-years of extended warranty covering critical engine and electrical components, including the fuel-injection system – making it the first manufacturer in the business to offer so.
The price discount should make the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid range more attractive for customers, especially for someone who is looking for a nice affordable, 125 cc scooter in the market. Interestingly, the price benefit announcement comes barely a few days after the brand’s Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing, Ravinder Singh, confirmed that Yamahawill not return to the mass-market segment with any 100 cc or 125 cc commuter bike at all. Instead, it will focus on expanding its premium portfolio with more 300 cc and above bikes. Thereby indicating that it might bring some of its middleweight bikes to India. Which include the likes of the MT-07, R7, MT-09, or the Ténéré 700. For more details about the same, head to the link here.
