Aside from new colour options, the Yamaha R15 V4 will remain mechanically unchanged.
Yamaha India has brought in updates to its most successful 150cc fully-faired, sport bike, the R15 V4.
For 2024, the Yamaha R14 V4 has gained a brand new colour option called Vivid Magenta Metallic. Yamaha’s decision to introduce this new colour option was to attract more ‘GenZ’ buyers, and going by that philosophy this new colour option surely does stand out. Especially with those pink alloy wheels. The ‘R15’ badge on the fairing gets a shade of that pink, and the base colour is matte greyish in texture. However, if you want to buy your R15 V4 in this newly introduced shade, this option can only be bought at Yamaha’s upscale Blue Square outlets.
In addition to the above, Yamaha has also given subtle cosmetic upgrades to its existing Racing Blue and Metallic Red colour options. Aside from that, the R15 V4 continues to be powered by the same 155cc, SOHC, liquid-cooled engine that produces 18.1 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of peak torque at 7500 rpm. Even the feature list of the bike continues as it is.
So, if you want to buy the 2024 Yamaha R15 V4 in this new Vivid Magenta Metallic shade or the updated Racing Blue option, it will set you back by ₹1.87 lakh. This makes the new R15 V4 ₹10,000 less cheaper than the top-spec R15 M which continues to priced at ₹ 1.97 lakh. And lastly, with the Metallic Red option, the R15 V4 is priced at ₹1.82 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
