The establishment of the GCC in Bengaluru underscores India's rising importance as a global centre for innovation and skilled talent.
Zeiss' Bengaluru centre will focus on advanced technologies including medical tech, vision care, cybersecurity, AI, and Cloud computing. Located in Karnataka, which hosts more than one-third of India's GCC facilities, the new centre joins a robust ecosystem of 570 similar facilities employing over 550,000 professionals, reports MoneyControl.
"This centre will accelerate the digital transformation of our growing global operations and stands as a clear testament to our unwavering commitment to building a solid foundation for Zeiss' growth in India," Zeiss India chief financial officer Dhaval Radia was quoted as saying by MoneyControl.
