Maruti Swift

  • The new Swift has an assertive and upscale front end thanks to its huge honeycomb-patterned grille and chrome surround. Sleek LED projector headlights with built-in LED daytime running lights (DRLs) flank the grille.

  • The Swift's floating roof design is one of its most unique features. The hatchback looks more dynamic and athletic thanks to the blacked-out pillars and contrasting roof colours that give the impression of a floating roof.

  • The Swift has contoured body panels that flow from the front to the back and crisp character lines. Thanks to these creases and shapes, especially around the flanks, the automobile appears more muscular and athletic, giving the overall design depth and energy.

Maruti Swift vs Tata Punch - Feature & Interiors

Both the models have a well-built interior packed with advanced and functional features to give the car owners more flexibility and comfort.

Maruti Swift

  • The dashboard features circular AC vents and dark grey accents, creating a busy look, while black is the predominant colour throughout the cabin. The flat-bottom steering wheel enhances the sporty feel of the interior. However, the analogue instrument cluster with a small digital display in the centre appears outdated.

The large front seats provide good support and are spacious; top-spec models also include a height adjustment feature for the front seats. The rear bench seats can accommodate three people comfortably and offer ample knee room, though the absence of rear AC vents can reduce comfort on hot days.

  • The Swift's features have been updated but are primarily available in the top-spec variants. These variants include amenities such as cruise control, a MID display for the instrument cluster, auto-folding ORVMs, automatic climate control, the SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment system, automatic headlamps, and a 6-speaker audio system.

  • In terms of comfort, the Punch features wide front seats that provide a comfortable driving experience, especially with the high seating position. Rear passengers also enjoy ample headroom, knee room, and foot room, with the rear bench seat offering good comfort.

  • Beyond comfort, the Punch's interior provides ample storage space, including a glovebox, door pockets, cup holders, a 360-litre boot, and a cubby hole.
