It is available in a new Metal Stream Metallic colour along with the existing shades of Platinum White Pearl, Silver Metallic, Graphite Metallic, Red Mica, Attitude Black, and Burning Black.
The interior has been updated with a 9-inch floating infotainment system featuring Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The ornamentation has been refreshed with a black engineered wood effect film with a composite pattern. The sedan comes equipped with ventilated front seats, paddle shifters, a Head-Up display, a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat, a wireless smartphone charger, rear seats with a recliner, a power-assisted rear sunshade, and a three-zone AC, among other features. This engine is paired with a self-charging hybrid electric drivetrain that produces a combined output of 175.67 bhp power and 221 Nm of torque. Here is an in-depth analysis of the Toyota Camry's specifications and features, covering its engine options, performance, transmission, dimensions, and cargo capacity. Additionally, this review explores the vehicle's advanced safety features and exterior and interior design for a comprehensive understanding.
The Toyota Camry's external design exemplifies a clean and modern look, setting it apart. The front design is dominated by a dramatic V-shaped grille with chrome accents that blend smoothly with the crisp LED headlights and daytime running lights (DRLs). This combination accentuates the car's aggressive appearance and provides excellent visibility. The Camry's aerodynamic profile is enhanced by its sculpted hood and streamlined body lines, which improve performance and fuel efficiency.
On its sides, the Camry has a dynamic posture, accented by attractive 18-inch alloy wheels that lend a touch of refinement. The side mirrors are aerodynamically sculpted and include integrated turn signals, and the softly sloping roofline adds to the sedan's athletic appearance. The attention to detail is obvious in the delicate chrome embellishments that run down the window lines, creating a luxurious touch.
The Camry continues to amaze with LED taillights that reflect the front's crisp design language. The revised rear bumper and dual exhaust outlets highlight the vehicle's athletic nature. Furthermore, the Toyota Camry now comes in a new Metal Stream Metallic colour and other eye-catching tints, ensuring it caters to various aesthetic tastes. This combination of elegance, utility, and attention to detail makes the Toyota Camry's exterior design visually appealing and aerodynamically efficient.
The interior has been slightly updated, with the standout feature being a larger 9.0-inch floating infotainment screen that replaces the previous 8.0-inch integrated display. The AC vents have been repositioned below the screen, and there is a new trim finish for the dashboard, centre console, and armrests, enhancing the overall appeal. While the materials used are of good quality, the design still appears somewhat dated. Unlike high-riding vehicles and SUVs, which are easier to enter and exit, the low stance of sedans like the Camry can be challenging for older people.
However, the Camry offers spacious seating for four passengers. Although it can fit a third person in the second row, the middle seat is upright, and the floorboard hump for the transmission tunnel makes it uncomfortable. The other seats provide good legroom, are supportive, and feature electronic adjustments at the touch of a button. The rear seats can be reclined using a special touch display in the centre rear armrest, providing access to the trunk. With a 524-litre trunk, all your luggage can be securely stowed out of sight.
The Camry is well-equipped for a single fully loaded trim. Its touchscreen infotainment system is paired with a nine-speaker JBL audio system, supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and features improved software. Additional features include cruise control, a reverse camera, an electric sunroof, a wireless charging pad, and a head-up display. The car also offers powered and ventilated front seats with a memory function for the driver's seat, power-reclining rear seats, powered sunshades for rear passengers, and more luxurious amenities. However, it lacks some high-end features found in competitors, such as a 360-degree camera. Safety equipment includes nine airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, and other expected features for a car in its class.

The heart of the Camry Hybrid is a perfect blend of power and efficiency. Its 2.5-liter Dynamic Force 4-cylinder 2487 cc engine, combined with an electric motor, delivers an impressive total output of 175.67 bhp and 221 Nm of torque. This powertrain is paired with an e-CVT (Electronic Continuously Variable Transmission) gearbox. Primarily powered by petrol, with electricity as the secondary option, the synergy between the petrol engine and electric motor ensures instant power delivery, propelling the sedan smoothly from a standstill to highway speeds. The e-CVT optimises gear ratios, achieving an ideal balance between fuel efficiency and performance.
The Toyota Camry has a 6-speed continuously variable gearbox (e-CVT) that works flawlessly with its 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid engine. This sophisticated CVT maximises performance and efficiency, resulting in smooth and fast acceleration. Three driving modes—Sport, Eco, and Normal—let drivers customise their driving experience to varied situations and tastes. The gearbox improves the Camry's fuel efficiency while providing a pleasant and exciting ride, making it ideal for city and highway driving.
The EV mode highlights Toyota's commitment to eco-friendly performance, allowing the car to run solely on electric power under specific conditions, thereby minimising emissions. The Camry Hybrid achieves a top speed of 200 km/h. Despite its eco-conscious design, there is no sacrifice in excitement; Sport Mode provides spirited driving dynamics for those moments when extra enthusiasm is desired.
Balancing comfort and performance, the Toyota Camry Hybrid's ride and handling characteristics showcase the brand's engineering excellence. The newly adopted TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) lowers the centre of gravity and enhances chassis rigidity, resulting in a ride quality that smoothly absorbs road imperfections while minimising body roll.
The suspension system combines MacPherson struts at the front with a multi-link setup at the rear, delivering plush comfort without sacrificing agility. The steering offers precise feedback, instilling confidence for enthusiastic cornering. Whether cruising on the highway or navigating city streets, the Camry Hybrid provides a ride experience that is both exhilarating and serene.
The Toyota Camry is outstandingly fuel efficient, especially in its hybrid form. The 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid engine, combined with a continuously variable gearbox (CVT), delivers an impressive economy of roughly 23 km/l. This efficiency makes the Camry an inexpensive alternative for city and long-distance driving. The Camry's mix of a petrol engine and an electric motor assures ideal fuel usage, making it stand out for consumers looking for performance without sacrificing efficiency.

The Toyota Camry, now sold in India, is the eighth generation, which received a redesign in 2022. Here's a quick comparison between the previous model (pre-facelift) and the facelift version.
The facelifted Camry boasts a more prominent front fascia, including a bigger grille, new headlights, and a more contoured bumper. The side appearance stays the same, but the rear end has been upgraded with new taillights and a revised bumper design.
The facelifted Camry's cabin now appears more contemporary and upmarket. It has a revamped dashboard layout with a floating-style infotainment display, a new instrument cluster, and higher-quality materials.
The facelifted Camry has new features, including wireless charging, a bigger infotainment system with linked car tech, a heads-up display, and an enhanced suite of safety and driver-aid systems, including adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist.
In India, the original and facelifted Camry versions are powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with 175.67 bhp and 221 Nm of torque. However, the facelifted model has an improved 8-speed automatic gearbox instead of the earlier 6-speed one.
