The 2023 Hyundai i20 features cosmetic tweaks along with an upgraded equipment list.
Hyundai Motor India Limited has launched the 2023 Hyundai i20 facelift in the country at a revised price of Rs. 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). With the 2023 Hyundai i20, the company is offering cosmetic tweaks to the exterior as well as the interior, along with additions to the equipment list. However, mechanically, the 2023 Hyundai i20 retains the same tried & tested 1.2-litre NA petrol unit with unchanged power output. The company has also standardised a few safety features on the 2023 i20 to make it safer than before.

The new Hyundai i20 retains the LED headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) but gets redesigned front and rear bumpers, a new front grille with parametric design language and the new 2D Hyundai logo along with 16-inch alloy wheels. Inside the 2023 Hyundai i20 facelift, you get a new dual-tone grey and black interiors with ambient lighting while the Bose premium 7-speaker system and the 10.25-inch infotainment system are retained from the previous model. However, the lower trims get the 8-inch display while the base version misses out on an infotainment screen. The semi-leatherette seats, leatherette door armrests, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and Sound Of Nature are also continued here from the earlier model.
Safety takes centre stage in the new Hyundai i20, with 26 standard safety features. These include 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Assist Control (HAC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Antilock Braking System (ABS), and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), among others. All seats are equipped with three-point seatbelts and seatbelt reminders, adding an extra layer of security. Over 40 safety features, including a Burglar alarm, Emergency stop signal, rear parking camera, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Highline, headlamp escort function, and Automatic headlamps, further raise the safety quotient.
The 2023 Hyundai i20 also gets more than 60 connected car features, 127 Embedded VR commands, 52 Hinglish voice commands, Over-the-Air updates, Multilanguage UI support accommodating 10 regional and 2 International languages, and a C-Type charger to keep you powered up. Under the hood, the new Hyundai i20 features the same 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine that develops 82 bhp and 115 Nm of peak torque, coupled to either a 5-speed manual or an iVT unit. The hatchback also features the Idle Stop & Go (ISG) feature.
The 2023 Hyundai i20 is available in a new Amazon Grey paint scheme along with Atlas White, Titan Gray, Typhoon Silver, Starry Night, Fiery Red, Atlas White + Black Roof, and Fiery Red + Black Roof.
