Audi has introduced the latest model of its flagship SUV, the new Audi Q8, in India at ₹1.17 crore (ex-showroom, India). The refreshed Q8 is powered by a 3.0-litre TFSI engine that generates 335 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. The engine is supported by a 48V mild hybrid battery, enabling a 0-100 kmph sprint in 5.6 seconds and a top speed of 250 kmph. The Q8’s exterior highlights include HD Matrix LED headlights with laser beams, a panoramic sunroof, frameless doors, and new 21-inch alloy wheels. A diverse palette of eight colour options, including an exclusive Sakhir Gold, caters to a wide range of preferences. Additionally, new features like Park Assist Plus and a 360-degree surround view camera add to the convenience and safety.
The interior of the Audi Q8 emphasises luxury and advanced technology. A dual-screen infotainment system, featuring a 10-inch primary display and an 8.5-inch secondary screen, is complemented by the Audi Virtual Cockpit, B&O premium sound system, and button-less MMI Navigation. Enhanced comfort is ensured with features like electronically adjustable front seats, four-zone climate control, and premium leather upholstery. In terms of safety, the Q8 comes equipped with an Audi pre-sense basic, eight airbags, and an Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP).
Alongside the launch, Audi India also announced that it has sold 1 lakh units in the country since it entered the market 15 years ago. In recognition of this achievement, the brand is offering a 100-day celebration benefit that includes special loyalty packages, service plans, extended warranties, and various corporate and trade-in benefits.
