Harley-Davidson's 2024 lineup hits India with a powerful new engine and the return of the iconic Breakout 117 cruiser.
Harley-Davidson has unveiled its 2024 motorcycle lineup for India with the new Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin engine now arriving on some of its top models. The new larger mill is now delivering more power and improved thermal cooling for comfort, ensuring a pleasant ride even on hot Indian roads. Riders can personalise their experience with four selectable ride modes - Road, Sport, Rain, and Custom.
The iconic Breakout 117 makes its comeback to India. Powered by the same potent Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine, it has a distinctive two-into-two exhaust setup that delivers impressive mid-range torque and a throaty exhaust note for a truly exhilarating ride.
Standing out are the all-new Street Glide and Road Glide models. Modern fancy connected technology takes the wheel with a stunning 12.3-inch colour TFT touchscreen display, replacing traditional gauges and offering functionalities like navigation and audio control. A powerful 200-watt amplifier elevates the sound experience, while redesigned bodywork improves aerodynamics for a smoother ride. Comfort has been increased with longer suspension travel and a redesigned seat for long-distance journeys.
So, with the addition of these new models, here’s how the pricing of its CBU offerings looks like:
Model | Price |
---|---|
Nightster | ₹ 13,39,000 |
Nightster Special | ₹ 14,09,000 |
Sportster S | ₹ 16,49,000 |
Fat Bob 114 | ₹ 21,49,000 |

Road Glide | ₹ 41,79,000 |
Harley-Davidson Business Unit Head at Hero MotoCorp, Ravi Avalur, said: “We are excited to open the bookings for the 2024 range of Harley-Davidson motorcycles in India. In the Grand American Touring category, we have brought the new Harley-Davidson Road Glide and Street Glide models to further enhance Harley-Davidson’s leadership in the market. In the cruiser category, we are re-introducing Harley-Davidson Breakout 117 to enhance the product portfolio for the Indian consumers.”
We should be hoping for another motorcycle from Harley-Davidson’s 440 cc engine platform this year. While the X440 has surely helped establish the brand in the hotly contested entry-level retro space, Harley could very well take a more traditional cruiser approach for its next offering. Or perhaps, go a bit more sporty and pay homage to its flat tracking roots. Stay tuned to this space for more details.
