There’s no doubt that the Creta has been one of the most successful products for Hyundai in India. Riding high on the back of this tremendous response, the marque introduced the facelifted Creta earlier this year, and in just a few months, it has already garnered more than 80,000 bookings. Moreover, Hyundai sold 15,276 units of the Creta in February 2024, which was the highest-ever monthly sales recorded by the company for the SUV.
Making the Creta all the more viable is the fact that the waiting period for the SUV is between 4-15 weeks. This is quite a commendable number, for despite such a heavy demand, the marque has managed to keep the delivery period short.
There are seven trim levels to the Hyundai Creta, coupled with three engine options with the benefit of four gearbox choices, the compact SUV is available with a total of 19 variants. To know about which variant to buy check here.
Mechanically, the Hyundai Creta retains the 113 bhp/ 144 Nm 1.5-litre petrol and 114 bhp/250 Nm 1.5-litre diesel engine as before. In addition to that, with the facelift of the second-generation Creta, Hyundai also introduced its 1.5-litre Turbo GDi petrol engine option that produces 158 bhp and 253 Nm. This is the same mill that also does duties in the newly introduced Creta N Line. However, in the standard Creta, it can be paired with the 7-speed DCT gearbox only, whereas in the N Line model it can be had with the 6-speed manual gearbox option as well.
