2024 India Bike Week Set To Take Place On December 6-7: Here’s What To Expect

Motorcycle enthusiasts, mark your calendars! The 11th edition of India Bike Week (IBW) is set to transform Vagator, Goa, into the ultimate celebration of two-wheeled passion on the 6th and 7th of December 2024. If you’re planning to visit the coastal town on these two days, then here’s what you should brace yourselves for :

Exciting Race Formats

Carrying forward the biggest attraction from last year will be the IBW Flat Track Race competition. Competitors will be riding on flat-track bikes based on the Harley-Davidson X440. It’s a one-make race championship, where winners can stand the chance to win up to ₹10 lakh. There will be three rounds – qualification, semi-final, and finals – and all three will put the test riders' skills to their limits. Alongside, this main event, a Dirt Drag race competition, an obstacle race with two-wheels, and a Rat Race have also been organised. 

Adventure and Overlanding Showcase

For those seeking inspiration, IBW will have The Big Trip Stage which will feature legendary overlanders, including Elspeth Beard - the first British woman to circumnavigate the world on a motorcycle in 1982. An expanded overlanding expo has also been organised which will provide insights into adventure travel and long-distance riding.

Diverse Exhibition and Marketplace

With over 100 stalls, visitors can explore the latest motorcycle parts, accessories, and gear. The indoor and outdoor expo will showcase multiple brands, including Harley-Davidson, Hero, Bajaj, and Brixton, offering enthusiasts a comprehensive view of the two-wheeler landscape. KTM is also slated to be at IBW, and this year the Austrian brand will have on display its latest adventure bike, the new 390 Adventure R – one of the most anticipated launches of this year. 

Music and Entertainment

What’s a festival without some headbanging music, eh? Like every year, the 2024 IBW will also have a music stage. And this year it will be called the NXS Music Festival Stage with several stellar acts scheduled to take place across two stages. From the latest sensation OAFF to Brodha V and Divine – expect some sick beats to drop this year in Goa. 

Community and Club Experiences

And lastly, what’s a festival without some socialising? So, for 2024, the IBW festival has introduced exciting community-driven activities like the Gulf Syntrac Dyno timings, King & Queen of Moto Fashion, Biker Dance-off, and Club Parades. Motorcycle clubs will have special packages and opportunities to showcase their passion too.
