The performance scooter gets new colours for the year with slight price changes

TVS has unveiled the NTorq 125 Race XP Dark Edition, an all-black variant of the popular NTorq 125 Race XP scooter. Along with this, it has introduced new colours on the standard variant. The prices of the standard variant have dropped whereas there is a very minimal increase in the price of the Race XP Dark edition.

The standard TVS NTorq 125 model has received a price cut, with a new starting price of ₹86,871 (ex-showroom Delhi), representing a significant saving of up to ₹2,770 compared to the previous price of ₹89,641. In contrast, the TVS NTorq 125 Race XP variant has seen a marginal price hike, with a new starting price of ₹97,501 (ex-showroom Delhi), just ₹10 more than the previous price of ₹97,491.

The Dark Edition has a gloss black body, grey graphics, and red accents, giving it a sporty and aggressive look. The standard NTorq 125 has received three colour options: Turquoise, Harlequin Blue, and Nardo Grey. These fresh colours are expected to appeal to the young and vibrant target audience of the NTorq 125.

No change to the engine tune on both trims. The standard TVS NTorq 125 is powered by a 124.8 cc, single-cylinder, three-valve engine that produces 9.4 bhp and 10.6 Nm while the NTorq 125 Race XP Dark Edition’s tune remains the sportier 10.05 bhp and 10.8 Nm.

There are no changes to the underpinnings as well, the NTorq continuing to feature a telescopic fork and a monoshock. It also retains the same 12-inch alloy wheels shod with 110/80-12 tyres. In terms of braking, it continues to feature a 220mm front disc brake and a 130 mm rear drum brake, which provide sufficient stopping power.  To know more about the riding experience of the NTorq, check out our video review below:
