While our credible jury’s opinions and considerations matter a lot at the TOTMs, we also value our readers’/viewers’ preferences. And winning the TOTM for the Viewers’ Choice Bike of the year, quite convincingly that too might we add, is the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350. It beat out the TVS Jupiter 110 and Aprilia RS 457 by a sizeable margin, the fight for the second spot being a hotly contested one.
It is not surprising that the Goan Classic 350 walked away with the TOTM. After all, it is a derivative of perhaps the most popular retro motorcycle in the country: the Classic 350. But unlike the Classic 350 that roamed the length and breadth of India, this Classic 350 imbibed the hippy free spirit of Goa and settled there, adorned on a few accessories and then lived the susegad life.
Hence, it looks really cool, funky and, in certain shades, psychedelic. It has an even more relaxed stance than the regular Classic 350, and if you like riding solo, you can even remove the pillion seat, giving it a nice, clean and sexy bobber look. Check out our brief first experience that we had with the bike in the lazy streets of Goa a few months back:
