The EV6 is expected to be launched in India around the middle of 2025.
Kia India will debut the EV6 facelift in India at the upcoming Auto Expo 2025. Ahead of that, Kia India has teased the facelifted version of the EV6, and it is expected to launch in India very soon. The EV6 first came to India in 2022 and was priced at ₹59.95 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
The teaser of the facelifted EV6 shows that it is in line with the global-spec model, which isn’t quite surprising since it will be a completely built unit (CBU) import. The EV6 facelift gets a mild cosmetic update with new LED headlamps, triangular LED DRLs, a revised front bumper, and a refreshed air dam. At the rear, the EV6 remains largely unchanged but gets new elements inside the taillamps and a redesigned bumper. Also, the EV6 gets a new 8-spoke design for the alloy wheels, much sleeker-looking than the outgoing car.
Kia India has not shared any images of the interior of the EV6, but it gets Kia’s new steering wheel and a redesigned twin-screen binnacle for two 12.3-inch displays, but the rest of the design remains the same.
The EV6 facelift gets a larger battery compared to the outgoing version. The lower-spec variants get a 63 kWh battery, while the top-spec variants get an 84 kWh battery pack. The top-spec variants get an estimated range of 513 km. The variants of the smaller battery pack produce 165 bhp and 350 Nm, while the variants of the larger battery pack churn out 222 bhp and 350 Nm. The all-wheel drive variants produce 316 bhp and 605 Nm, while the EV6 GT variant produces 632 bhp and 770 Nm.
Kia’s EV is expected to be launched in India later this year, probably towards the middle of this year. The EV6 is currently priced ₹60.97 - 65.97 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Expect the upcoming EV6 facelift to be priced at a slight premium.
