The asking price has gone up by almost ₹11,000.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z has been silently updated for 2025, addressing some key issues that robbed riders from enjoying the bike thoroughly. While there is no official launch that has taken place, our dealer sources have revealed that the asking price is now set at ₹1,92,328 (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is ₹11,000 more than before. Here’s what Bajaj has improved on the flagship Pulsar to try to justify the premium.
For starters, gone are the MRF Nylogrip Zapper tyres and instead comes Apollo Alpha H1 radial tyres. These will surely offer better grip, especially when cornering, as we have experienced on several other bikes like the Triumph Speed 400. The tyres themselves are a size larger at both ends, making it easier for buyers to find aftermarket solutions as well. Additionally, Bajaj has also updated the braking hardware with sintered brake pads at the front for better and more confidence inspiring stopping performance.
Along with that, the KTM-derived 373 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder mill is now OBD-2B compliant. The update shouldn’t have taken a toll on its performance and hopefully, it continues to churn out the same 39.45 bhp and 35 Nm as before.

Beyond these upgrades, the rest of the bike has remained the same. Right from its design to its feature list. Even the colour options are the same as before which includes four shades – Brooklyn Black, Glossy Racing Red, Pearl Metallic White, and Pewter Gray.
Despite the ₹11,000 price hike, the Pulsar NS400Z continues to be one of the most affordable naked sport bike offerings in the sub-500 cc segment. It packs a lot of motorcycle for ₹1.92 lakh, especially when you consider the likes of the Yamaha R15 and Hero Xtreme 250R are also similarly priced.
