The Aircross X is now among the most affordable choices for buyers seeking a spacious, feature-rich SUV.
Citroën India has expanded its SUV portfolio with the launch of the Aircross X, priced at an introductory ₹9.77 lakh (ex-showroom) and positioned as a smart, premium and spacious family vehicle. The Aircross X strengthens the brand’s X-Series, joining the recently launched Basalt X and aligning with Citroën’s “Shift Into the New” strategy for the Indian market. The new model brings enhanced interior luxury, cutting-edge features and segment-competitive value, directly taking on established rivals in the C-segment SUV space.
The Aircross is now available in multiple variants, with its base You variant starting at ₹8.29 lakh, while the Aircross X Plus comes in at ₹9.77 lakh and the top-end Aircross X Max variant stretches up to ₹13.49 lakh. In comparison, the just-launched Basalt X is offered from ₹7.95 lakh, going up to ₹14.10 lakh for its top trim. This competitive pricing places the new Aircross X above the Basalt X's entry point, and neck-and-neck with the upper trims of its coupe-SUV sibling.
Meanwhile, key C-segment SUV rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and MG Astor range from ₹9.65 lakh to over ₹20 lakh for their respective top-end variants. With this, the Aircross X establishes itself as among the most affordable choices for buyers seeking a spacious, feature-rich SUV.
The Citroën Aircross has also recorded a significant achievement in occupant safety, securing a 5-star safety rating for adult protection in the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (BNCAP) and a 4-star rating for child protection.

Citroën has equipped the Aircross X with segment-leading and segment-first features, including a 10.25-inch infotainment system, 7-inch digital cluster, ventilated leatherette seats, ambient lighting, multi-zone climate control, and India’s first context-aware multilingual in-car assistant. The model also offers flexible 5- and 7-seat layouts, an advanced safety suite with six airbags, and new colour options.
