The Multistrada V2 is the entry-level sports tourer offering in the Ducati India portfolio.
Ducati expanded its India portfolio by riding in the new Multistrada V2. The Ducati sports tourer features a reworked chassis, new powerplant and cosmetic updates. So let’s start with the heart of the matter which is the new 890 cc, liquid-cooled V-twin engine which churns out 113.4 bhp and peak torque of 92.1 Nm. While power and torque figures are down in comparison to the older model, Ducati claims that 7% of the torque is made available at just 3,500 rpm and this allows the rider to cruise at 50 km/h in 5th gear without any knocking. Even the engine valve clearance is required every 30,000 km and the Multistrada V2 comes with a 4-year warranty.
Commenting on the launch of the 2025 Multistrada V2 in India, Mr. Bipul Chandra, Managing Director, Ducati India, said, "The increasing demand for middle weight adventure tourers in the Indian market sets the stage for the 2025 Multistrada V2 and V2 S, which redefine premium mid-size adventure touring in India. The Multistrada V2 becomes the first Ducati to be launched in India featuring the all new V2 engine which embodies the best of Ducati’s Italian craftsmanship, offering enhanced technology, and truly unmatched performance for discerning riders. It creates a new benchmark within its segment, ensuring that the Multistrada V2 family continues to deliver an elevated riding experience that seamlessly combines advanced technology, sophisticated rider aids, and unmatched power, now across an even broader spectrum of adventure."

The highlight of the new bike is that it’s 18 kg lighter than its predecessor making it among the lightest motorcycles in its segment. It was achieved using a redesigned frame, subframe and swingarm; the construction of the same has been inspired from the Multistrada V4. The styling is also sleeker with a slender LED headlight and DRL which draws inspiration from the new Multistrada V4. The Ducati Multistrada V2 S comes with Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS), which is a semi-active suspension system and one can lower the rear suspension with a push of a button to reduce the seat height and help the pillion board the bike in a more comfortable manner.
On the features front, the 2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 features a 5-inch colour TFT dash with smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation, and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), etc. Along with it, a full suite of electronic riding aids, including different ride modes, power modes, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control and more.
