Gets a retuned engine, new TFT screen and updated visual elements
Honda has refreshed its Activa 125 as an early sign of more things to come for 2025. The new scooter is now priced at ₹94,422 for the DLX model while the H-Smart trim now costs ₹97,146 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi). This makes the new Activa nearly ₹7,000 dearer than the outgoing model. We would have anticipated a minor price increase for the forthcoming year. But Honda has bundled in a few additional goodies to sort of justify the extra premium.
For starters, the LED headlight is quite a bit different. It doesn’t have a scowl face but rather traditional and squarish. There are six colours to opt from, with each option now available with brown seats and inner panels. Finally, the Activa 125 badging on the side panels is embossed into a chrome strip.

Keeping up with the times, the Activa 125 will now get a 4.3-inch colour TFT screen that is compatible with Honda’s RoadSync app. This will unlock turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts and music controls that can be operated via the joycube on the left hand side switchgear. The layout of the screen looks similar to the one we have seen on the large Honda NX500. Finally, there is a new USB Type-C charging port for keeping your electronic devices juiced up on the go.
Even the heart of the Activa 125 witnesses a revision. The 123.92 cc single-cylinder air-cooled mill is now pushing out 8.31 bhp and 10.5 Nm (0.1 bhp and 0.1 Nm more). While the gains aren’t substantial, we hope that the frugality quotient as well as the refinement levels remain the same as we have come to associate with Honda.
No further changes have been reported on the family scooter that will continue to lock horns with the likes of the Suzuki Access 125 and the TVS Jupiter 125. Honda will have quite a promising start to 2025 with the Activa e: and QC1 prices to be announced likely in the first week of the year and a few big capacity Hondas slated to arrive shortly thereafter.
