Honda has also discontinued the H-Smart variant from before and the DLX variant now slots in as the top variant.
After the Activa 125, SP 125 and SP 160, Honda has now launched the 2025 iteration of the Dio scooter. Priced from ₹74,930 (ex-showroom, Delhi) onwards, the Dio has become expensive by ₹1,718. Additionally, the H-Smart variant has not been updated for 2025 and is likely to be discontinued. Hence, once again the DLX variant will slot in as the top variant with all the bells and whistles. Check out the price difference in the table below:
Variants | New Price | Old Price | Difference |
2025 Honda Dio STD | ₹74,930 | ₹73,212 | ₹1,718 |
2025 Honda Dio DLX | ₹85,648 | ₹77,663 | ₹7,985 |
2025 Honda Dio H-Smart | Discontinued | ₹78,162 | NA |
As for the updates, while the Honda Dio has mechanically remained the same, the 109.51 cc, single-cylinder has been updated to comply with the latest OBD-2B emission norms. Due to which, power has increased slightly from 7.75 bhp to 7.84 bhp, but the torque output has remained the same at 9.03 Nm. To make this mill more frugal, Honda has also introduced its idling stop system, which shuts off the engine automatically every time you come to a standstill.
But the most notable upgrade has to be the inclusion of the new 4.2-inch coloured TFT display. This is the same unit that Honda introduced with the 2025 Activa 125. But on the Activa 125, this cluster supports Bluetooth connectivity, and there is no provision for that in the Dio. There is a USB Type C charging port now, which will keep your devices charged up at all times.
On the aesthetic front, while the 2025 Honda Dio continues to look the same as before, to keep its appeal fresh for the new year, Honda has introduced five new colour options: Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Igneous Black + Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Mat Marvel Blue, and Mat Axis Gray Metallic.
Units of the 2025 Honda Dio have started to arrive across all Honda dealerships in the country. Expect deliveries for the same to commence soon as well.
