Honda continues to update its bike portfolio and the Shine 100 is the latest to join the bandwagon. This is the first set of updates for the bike, since its launch in 2023. Due to which, the 2025 Honda Shine 100 now has also become more expensive and at ₹68,767 (ex-showroom, Delhi), it’s almost ₹4,000 more expensive than its introductory price. However, it continues to be available as a single variant model, though.
While the bike has not received any substantial changes as such, it will look different now, courtesy five different new colour options – Black with Red, Black with Blue, Black with Orange, Black with Gray, and Black with Green. These are complemented by refreshed graphic design. The rest of the bike is still the same, and even the panels have remained exactly the same.
Beyond that, mechanically, the 98.98 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine was already OBD-2 compliant, but now it has been made OBD-2B compliant. This power plant now develops a humble 7.28 bhp (down from 7.50 bhp) and 8.04 Nm (down by 0.1 Nm), and it is transmitted to the rear wheel by a 4-speed gearbox. Similarly, feature-wise, there are no new additions.
“The Shine 100 has been a strong player in the entry-level motorcycle segment, offering exceptional quality and comfort at an affordable price. With this latest upgrade, we are further enhancing its appeal and ensuring compliance with the latest emission norms while maintaining its renowned fuel efficiency and reliability,” concluded Yogesh Mathur, Director, Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India
