Hyundai's second-generation Venue launches tomorrow, featuring larger dimensions, dual 12.3-inch displays, NVIDIA-powered infotainment, Level 2 ADAS, three engine options, and new HX variant nomenclature.

Hyundai Motor India is set to launch the much-anticipated second-generation Venue on November 4, 2025.

Representing a full model change, the new Venue is expected to be sold alongside the existing model.  Bookings for the former are officially open across Hyundai dealerships.

So, what will the new model offer? Here’s a detailed breakdown of what to expect from the 2025 Hyundai Venue.

Design & Dimensions

The new Venue has grown in size, adopting a more commanding presence. Its dimensions now measure 3,995mm in length, 1,800mm in width, and 1,665mm in height, with a wheelbase stretched to 2,520mm. This makes it 30mm wider and features a 20mm longer wheelbase than its predecessor, promising enhanced cabin space.

Styling updates give the Venue a modern and rugged look. The front is dominated by a large radiator grille flanked by sleek quad-beam LED headlamps and twin-horn LED DRLs. It adopts the same design language as the Alcazar facelift and Exter.

The profile is accentuated by muscular wheel arches, sculpted character lines, and bridge-type roof rails. At the rear, the signature C-pillar garnish is retained, now complemented by horizon LED positioning lamps and an in-glass 'Venue' emblem.

Cabin

Inside, the cabin undergoes a premium transformation with a new layout finished in a dual-tone Dark Navy and Dove Grey theme with leatherette upholstery. The centre console features a floating, coffee-table design with ambient lighting. A key highlight is the expansive curved panoramic display, combining a 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

The extended wheelbase translates to noticeably improved rear legroom, while comfort is further enhanced by features like ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger, and an electric four-way adjustable driver's seat.

Tech & Connectivity

The all-new Venue will introduce Hyundai's advanced Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) system, powered by NVIDIA. This system enables over-the-air (OTA) software updates for up to 20 vehicle controllers.

It integrates wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a Bose eight-speaker sound system, and supports over 70 connected car features. The system can understand more than 400 voice commands in five languages, including Hindi, English, Hinglish, Bengali, and Tamil.

Engine Options & Performance

The 2025 Venue will be available with the same three engine options as before: a 1.2-litre petrol, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel. A new addition is a 6-speed automatic transmission for the diesel engine, joining the existing manual and DCT options.

The SUV will also offer three drive modes (Eco, Normal, Sport) and three traction control modes (Sand, Mud, Snow) to handle diverse driving conditions.

There will also be a dedicated N-Line variant, which will likely only be offered with the turbo-petrol engine, and is expected to feature a stiffer suspension and a louder exhaust.

Safety Features

Safety is a major focus, with the new Venue equipped with Hyundai SmartSense ADAS Level 2 technology, offering 16 advanced driver-assistance functions. These include forward collision-avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, smart cruise control with stop & go, and parking collision-avoidance assist.

The vehicle's structure uses 71% hot-stamped, ultra-high-strength steel for superior impact resistance. A total of six airbags, electronic stability control, and hill-start assist are standard, with over 65 safety features available across the range.

With over 7,00,000 customers for the first-generation model, Hyundai aims to strengthen its leadership in the compact SUV segment. The new Venue will rival the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Skoda Kylaq.
