However, these new options have been introduced for the Indonesian market only as of now.
Continuing its streak of aesthetic updates, Kawasaki has debuted the 2025 iteration of the Z900 RS Cafe and Z900 RS with new colour options in Indonesia. These new hues do enhance the retro appeal of both bikes, primarily because they were also available with other Kawasaki Z bikes in the 70s. Thus, reiterating the intention of how Kawasaki wants to give its fans a sense of nostalgia.
Starting with the Kawasaki Z900 RS Cafe, this deep black and green paint combo extends from the headlight cowl to the tail section. It does remind us of the Diamond Dark colour scheme that was available with the 1971 Kawasaki KZ900, but Kawasaki is now calling this modern option – Ebony.
Keeping the deep Kawasaki green distinct and yet without any sharp lines how it mixes into the base black paint keeps matters visually very subtle and sophisticated. The old-world charms are very much intact here, and that we think is a very good thing.
Moving on, the 2025 Kawasaki Z900 RS on the other hand looks quite vibrant and flashy with the new Ino Red colour option. Its inspiration is the 1975 Z1 900 which had the same aesthetic and graphic. The white rims stand out distinctly and give it a nice sporty touch. Moreover, unlike the Z900 RS Cafe which gets a black underbody treatment, the Z900 RS gets away with silver and in these pictures thus compliment the paint on the surrounding body panels.
Kawasaki has introduced the 2025 Z900 RS Cafe and Z900 RS in Indonesia only. India does get the Z900 RS and currently, it is available in a Metallic Diablo Black option and it is priced at ₹16.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Whether Kawasaki India brings these paint options here as well or not is something that remains to be seen.
