The updated 911 Turbo S has arrived in India featuring a twin-turbo, flat-six T-Hybrid engine with 701 bhp and 800 Nm.
Porsche has launched the updated 911 Turbo S (992.2) in India at a starting price of ₹3.80 crore (ex-showroom, India).
The latest iteration of the iconic sports car was unveiled globally at the Munich Motor Show earlier this year and promises enhanced performance, design improvements, and upgraded dynamics.
The Turbo S receives a completely reworked powertrain featuring Porsche's new 3.6-litre twin-turbo flat-six T-Hybrid engine. The same unit powers the latest 911 Carrera GTS but with an additional turbocharger in the Turbo S configuration.
The hybrid system produces 701 bhp and 800 Nm of torque, representing a 61 bhp increase over the previous model. Power is transmitted to all four wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Performance figures remain impressive, with acceleration from 0-100 km/h completed in just 2.5 seconds, while the 0-200 km/h sprint takes 8.4 seconds.
The vehicle achieves a top speed of 322 km/h. The Turbo S has also improved its Nürburgring lap time by 14 seconds, completing the circuit in 7 minutes and 3 seconds.
The model features Porsche's most advanced chassis setup with the latest Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) system. Braking performance is handled by the largest discs ever fitted to a two-door Porsche, with 420mm carbon ceramic rotors at the front and 410mm at the rear.
The vehicle includes a new sports exhaust system that weighs 6.8kg less due to titanium construction.
The Turbo S distinguishes itself with a wider stance, active front diffuser, new centre-lock alloy wheels, and a distinctive ducktail spoiler. The exterior features Turbonite accents, a bronze-grey finish exclusive to Turbo-badged Porsches, on various elements including badging and wheels.
The cabin continues the Turbonite theme with accents on the steering wheel, dashboard, door trims, seat belts, and even the chronograph.
The 911 Turbo S coupe is equipped as a standard two-seater, though buyers can opt for rear seats at no extra charge. In comparison, the Cabriolet version is exclusively available with a 2+2 seating layout. Both models come with adaptive 18-way Sport Seats Plus that include a memory function and have 'Turbo S' embossed on the headrests.
Deliveries in India are scheduled to commence in the second half of 2026.
