The Triber and Kiger are likely to remain unchanged mechanically but could get new features.
Renault’s Triber and Kiger have been in the market since 2019 and 2021, respectively. They both are now due to get facelifts, to make them more relevant in the market. Ahead of that, the two Renault models have now been spotted testing in India.

The Kiger and Triber’s test mules were seen with heavy camouflage, which could indicate that Renault has worked extensively on the cars. Only the Kiger’s front end is visible in the spy shots, and it shows that it will likely come with a revised grille and bumper, with the headlight placement not likely to change. It could, however, come with different elements in the headlamps. It could also sport Renault’s new 2D logo, as seen on new Renault cars globally.
The rear of both the cars was visible in the spy shots, and interestingly, both adorned makeshift taillamps. This is a clear indication that one of the main changes at the back would be the taillamps; however, they could just have the same design but different elements inside.

The interior of the Kiger and Triber facelift has not yet been snapped, but they both are expected to get an altered dashboard design along with new touchscreens and virtual clusters. The Kiger was decently loaded with features, but it could still get new features like a 360-degree camera.
Mechanically, the Kiger and Triber are expected to remain the same as the outgoing models. Both will get a 1.0-litre petrol engine churning out 71 bhp and 96 Nm, mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. The Kiger also gets a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that develops 99 bhp and up to 160 Nm, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT.
The Triber is a unique model in the Indian automobile industry, being the only sub-4-metre three-row vehicle on sale in India. So, it ideally doesn’t have direct rivals but sees some sort of competition from the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga or even the Toyota Rumion. The Kiger sits in a very competitive segment where it rivals the likes of the Hyundai Exter, Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Skoda Kylaq.
