From premium suspension component to more features – there’s a lot to look forward to on the updated Trident 660.
Triumph India recently released a teaser showcasing the “660” moniker on the tank shrouds, which in all probability refers to the 2025 Trident 660. The teaser was accompanied by the caption – More tech, more spec and more fun – coming your way very soon,” leaving no doubt in the mind that this is the new 2025 Trident 660 that the brand is talking about. The updated version of this neo roadster launched in Europe last year and brings several noteworthy improvements.
The most significant addition is a six-axis inertial measurement unit, a feature riders have requested since the original bike's introduction. This technology enables cornering anti-lock brakes, lean-angle traction control, and a new 'Sport' riding mode as standard equipment. While the punchy 660 cc, inline-three engine will remain the same, Triumph has now further standardised the bi-directional quickshifter – which was earlier available as an option.

Triumph also changed the geometry of the Trident 660 very subtly, wherein the wheelbase has become 6 mm shorter, and the rake angle is now slightly sharper from 23.9 degrees to 24.6 degrees. The handlebar has also become wider by 5 mm, and the overall kerb weight has increased by 1 kg to 190 kg now. Rounding off these changes are the new Showa SFF-BP USD fork with a new forged aluminium triple clamp which should help make the ride more comfortable.
The 2025 Triumph Trident 660 also gets Bluetooth connectivity as standard on the TFT display. This means smartphone integration features like turn-by-turn navigation will come included with every bike.
Triumph India has already listed the 2025 Trident 660 on its website. It is available in four colours: Cobalt Blue, Cosmic Yellow, Diablo Red, and Jet Black. Pricing will be important for the brand since the outgoing bike costs ₹8.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Given the extensive updates, we estimate a modest price increase of around ₹20,000 to ₹25,000.
