Visually, the new Baleno facelift is a nip-and-tuck update. The grille has been completely redesigned with two horizontal slats and a revised mesh pattern, while the Suzuki badge has moved up to the area between the grille and bonnet. The front bumper has also been updated while the rear remains nearly identical to that of the outgoing model. The alloys remain the same as well.

Inside, the changes are more comprehensive including new leatherite seats, ventilated front seats, and a new and premium Clarion sound system. The touchscreen size remains the same, and so does the instrument console. Maruti has introduced a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) on the hatchback, but the biggest addition is Level 2 ADAS, with features such as adaptive cruise control, high-beam assist, advanced emergency braking, and lane keep assist.
