2025 TVS Apache RTR 160 2V & 180 2V Teased

TVS has shared a teaser on its social media platforms, hinting the launch of a new motorcycle. While the teaser image just shows a DRL glowing, we expect this to be the updated version of the TVS Apache RTR 160 2V or the RTR 180 2V. On the cosmetic end, the 2025 TVS Apache RTR 160 2V and 180 4V might feature a revised LED headlight unit to make it look distinct. Other changes could be the introduction of new colour shades to make the motorcycle look more vibrant.

Other likeable upgrades could be a revised instrument console with more features and even TVS might drop an USD fork in the top-spec version. However, all the above remains speculation as we don’t have many details. On the mechanical end, the TVS Apache RTR 160 2V is powered by a 160 cc, single-cylinder engine pushing out 15.8 bhp and 13.85 Nm. The RTR 180 4V on the other hand produces 16.8 bhp and 15.5 Nm from its 178 cc motor. We don’t expect any changes with respect to performance, but then again TVS has a tendency to surprise us. 

TVS is also working on the Apache RTX 300, the brand's first ADV offering, which is likely to go on sale by the festive season. The other big ticket launch will be the 450 cc, twin-cylinder offering, most likely to be the TVS Apache RR 450 but it’s still sometime away and possible launch is expected in the second half of 2026.
