Besides being OBD-2B compliant, TVS is also expected to refresh the colour option of the commuter bike.
TVS Motor Company is all set to launch an updated iteration of its commuter bike, the Sport. While the brand is yet to give us a launch date, its website has been updated with the tagline, “Mileage Ka Baap In A Stylish New Avatar Loading Soon”. This means that the TVS Sport will be refreshed with new colour options. Plus as has been the case with all vehicle updates this year, the 109.7 cc, single-cylinder, engine will also be updated to comply with the latest OBD-2B emission norms.
Currently, the TVS Sport is available in two trims – ELS and ES. The former is available with three dual-tone colour options – Black Blue, Black Red, White Purple, and one montone option – Metallic Blue. The ES trim is available with four monotone colour options – Starlight Blue, All Black, All Grey, and All Red.

Mechanically, the 109.7 cc engine produces 8.08 bhp and 8.7 Nm of peak torque, which is good enough for a top speed of 90 kmph. The engine comes paired to a 4-speed gearbox, and with just 112 kg of kerb weight to play around, the TVS Sport is one of the most comfortable bikes to ride around the city.
With the upcoming update, we expect TVS to up the ante of the Sport with brighter colour options. There might not be any changes to the performances at all, and its nimble ride behaviour is expected to remain the same too. However, we might see the bike become slightly expensive from its current range of ₹60,000 to ₹72,000 (ex-showroom price, Delhi).
