The latest iteration of the Yezdi Roadster sees a few subtle design changes, and some thoughtful upgrades as well.
Classic Legends-owned Yezdi Motorcycles has officially taken the wraps off the updated Roadster. Launched at ₹2.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) onwards, the 2025 Yezdi Roadster remains more or less similarly priced, but it will be available in two variants, namely, Standard and Premium. The former is available with the choice of four colours – Sharkskin Blue, Smoke Grey, Bloodrush Maroon, and Savage Green. The Premium variant is only available in an all-matte black shade called Shadow Black.
Powering the 2025 Yezdi Roadster is the updated 334 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, Alpha2 engine with the same gear-based mapping that first came with the Jawa 350. On the Roadster, the engine produces 28.60 bhp and 30 Nm,0.6 Nm more than the older tune. The engine comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch as standard.
Not much has changed on the hardware front. The 2025 Yezdi Roadster continues to be built around the same dual-cradle chassis that is supported by a telescopic fork and dual-shock absorber. Yezdi claims that the suspension tuning has been reworked to make it more pliant for Indian roads. Braking duties are carried out by 320 mm/ 240 mm disc brakes, front and rear, respectively. The Yezdi Roadster’s seat height has increased by 5 mm and it is now standard at 795 mm.
Design-wise, Classic Legends has not tampered with the Roadster’s retro appeal at all, and has instead gone for a more evolved look. The twin-barrel exhausts have been retained, and the rear fender has been chopped short to give it a nice muscular appeal. Leaving no doubt to the mind about the Yezdi’s Parsi heritage, the bike now also features a Farohar insignia on the fuel tank.
On the features front, there is not much to talk about as the Yezdi Roadster and the same fully digital instrument console have carried over from before. Classic Legends, however, is offering six factory customs and 209 plug-and-play accessories, which will allow its customers to personalise the bike according to their style. From a wide handlebar to touring accessories like a pillion backrest and crash guards, Yezdi will have quite the comprehensive accessories on offer here.
The 2025 Yezdi Roadster will be available with the Jawa Yezdi BSA Ownership Assurance Program, which includes a 4-year/50,000-km warranty, optional coverage for up to six years, and one year of roadside assistance. Bookings and deliveries of the bike will commence shortly. The Yezdi Roadster will continue to compete against the Hunter 350, Triumph Speed T4, and Honda CB350.
