The Multistrada V2 was able to outrun its elder sibling to win the crown.
In comparison to the other premium bike categories, there wasn't as much action in the premium ADV space in 2025. Having said that, even though the number of bikes launched was low, their quality was very high. And there were some interesting contenders, including a scooter! You can check out the entire list of participants here:
Three of these bikes did make it to the jury round — both Ducatis and the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250. The American ADV, as interesting as it is, was the least impressive of the trio, mainly because its kerb weight made it a bit daunting to ride. The final battle was between the Ducati Multistrada V2 and the V4.
The Multistrada V4 is a tech-de-force, and that V4 engine is an absolute delight with respect to its performance, touring capability and tractability. However, the jury felt that the V2 offered almost the same riding experience at a more affordable price point, and for that reason the Ducati Multistrada V2 was the 2026 Premium ADV Motorcycle winner at the 2026 ACKO Drive Awards.
