2026 Kia Seltos Launched In India, Prices Start At Rs 10.99 Lakh

Kia India has finally announced the prices on the 2026 Seltos starting at Rs 10.99 lakh, going up to Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The second-generation Kia Seltos has grown with a new platform, bigger proportions, and an even longer feature stack. The starting price is now higher by Rs 20,000 over the previous model. The new Seltos range is available in five variants - HTE, HTK, HTX, GTX, and X-Line.

2026 Kia Seltos: What's New?

The new-gen Seltos is based on the global K3 platform, allowing Kia to enhance the overall proportions. The SUV is now 95 mm longer, 30 mm wider, while the height is lower by 10 mm. The wheelbase has grown by 80 mm at 2,690 mm, liberating more cabin space. The new offering has also witnessed a completely new design language inspired by Kia’s global strategy. This includes the new digital ‘Tiger Nose’ grille, vertically stacked headlamps with the DRLs on either corner, while the bumper varies depending on the variant. The profile remains largely boxy but with a notable increase in the overall length. It gets squared-off wheel arches and new alloy wheels, while the rear gets new L-shaped LED taillights, an integrated roof spoiler, and a redesigned bumper.

2026 Kia Seltos: Cabin

The cabin has seen a major upgrade with the triple screen panoramic layout comprising two 12.3-inch screens for the infotainment and digital cluster, and a small 5-inch screen for the climate control. Kia has also retained physical buttons on the dashboard for all the crucial functions. The new infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a big change from the predecessor. There are new creature comforts including a 10-way electrically adjustable driver seat with memory function, a head-up display unit, 64-colour ambient lighting, and a relaxation mode for the driver seat. Kia has added more tech to the lower variants, helping the model turn out to be more loaded right from the lower variants.

This includes the 10.25-inch touchscreen unit, which is now available from the base trim with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There’s also a digital instrument cluster, cruise control, keyless entry and LED lighting. Other features including the panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, ventilated seats, keyless go, front parking sensors, and more, are now available from the HTK trim itself.

2026 Kia Seltos: Engines

Engine options remain the same on the new-gen Kia Seltos. The lower trims get the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine tuned for 112 bhp and 144 Nm of peak torque, along with the 1.5-litre turbo petrol belting out 157 bhp and 253 Nm. Diesel power comes from the 1.5-litre unit churning out 114 bhp and 250 Nm. Transmission options include the 6-speed manual and CVT on the NA petrol, a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT on the turbo petrol, and a 6-speed manual and torque converter on the diesel.

2026 Kia Seltos: Rivals

The Setlos has new rivals to compete against - the Tata Sierra, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, while taking on existing competitors the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and the like. Bookings are open for the new Seltos range, while deliveries are set to begin by mid-January.
