The Brezza gets more features and a new turbo petrol engine to help it compete better against the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV 3XO.

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift has been launched in India at a starting price of ₹7.39 lakh (ex-showroom).

The subcompact SUV gets subtle exterior updates in the form of new front and rear bumpers, a new grille, and redesigned alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin receives a few tech upgrades, including a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment screen replacing the older 9-inch unit and ventilated front seats. Other high-end features like the single-pane electric sunroof, head-up display, wireless charging pad, and 360-degree camera have been retained.

The most significant change for the updated Brezza is under the bonnet. Maruti Suzuki has finally added a second engine option to this SUV in the form of the 1.0-litre turbo petrol. While this engine also does duty on the Fronx, it is more powerful on the 2026 Brezza, making 108 bhp and 170 Nm. It only comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. This engine option is available from the base LXi variant onwards, and it features red exterior accents as well.

The 1.5-litre K15C naturally aspirated petrol engine, which generates 102 bhp and 137 Nm of torque, has also been retained. It is offered with both, a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed auto transmission options. The factory-fitted CNG option also continues, but it now features an underbody tank layout to preserve boot space.

The 2026 Brezza facelift has also scored a 5-star BNCAP crash test rating. The car comes with six standard airbags right from the base variant. The top variant gets more safety aids like bind spot monitoring and front parking sensors. However, ADAS is not on offer on this vehicle.
