Professional riders will be competing for a prize pool of ₹20 lakh in the one-making racing championship. The riders will have to undergo zonal selections and track school sessions across Guwahati, Delhi NCR, Pune and Bangalore taking place through May and June 2026. The final rider selections are scheduled between June 18-21, 2026, at Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore. The 2026 Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup will be held in August, September and November this year. The previous edition saw nearly 6,000 registrations and 560 riders attending zonal selections.

The upcoming one-make championship will also act as a test-bed for Royal Enfield to test its new powertrain. The brand says the GT-R750 is built on an all-new platform, and has been engineered to deliver sharper performance, better agility, and enhanced rider feedback. The motorcycle features race-tuned suspension and braking systems, lightweight twin stainless steel race exhausts, and a new aerodynamic race fairing, which has been designed to allow riders to tuck in better and maximise straight-line stability.
