Triumph is offering two dual-tone colour schemes with the Scrambler 900 namely Matte Khaki Green with Matt Phantom Black and Mineral Grey with Cosmic Yellow.
Triumph announced new updates for its modern classic range a couple of weeks ago. This included the Scrambler 900 which has now gone on sale in the United Kingdom at a price of £10,395 (approx. ₹12.63 lakh). Visually, the Scrambler 900 sees only minor updates, but it gains a host of meaningful functional improvements over its predecessor.
Triumph has provided a refreshed styling for the 2026 Scrambler 900. The design of the fuel tank is now more angular and features a new filler cap, although its capacity remains unchanged, The side panels have been redesigned, along with new covers to conceal the throttle bodies. The exhaust gets a fresh look with increased heat shielding.

The two-piece seat adopts a revised profile while maintaining the same seat height and is mounted on a new, narrower subframe. Triumph has also reduced the size of the fenders, collectively lending the Scrambler 900 a more contemporary appearance.
The new Triumph Scrambler 900 is a significant mechanical overhaul of the outgoing model. For starters, it is built on a new frame that gets a cast-aluminum swingarm. This has helped reduce weight by 2.27 kilos, now weighing 221 kg with the tank filled up. The new frame now sits on an upside-down fork at the front though it is still non-adjustable.
The fork tube gaiters have been replaced by protective guards, while the rear shocks now feature piggyback reservoirs with adjustable spring preload. That said, travel at both ends remains unchanged at 120mm. Triumph, however, is offering optional shock absorbers from Fox for tunable compression damping.

Further, the steel rims have been replaced by wire-spoke aluminium rims that are shod with dual-purpose tyres Metzeler Tourance. Braking duties are handled by a larger 320 mm front disc brake aided by Brembo four-piston caliper and a 255 mm rear disc paired with a two-piston Nissin caliper. ABS and traction control are now lean sensitive.
The features department remains largely untouched. It continues with a part-digital, part-analogue instrument cluster. The LCD dash offers connectivity to smartphones via an optional Bluetooth function. Cruise control is also available as an optional feature. Other notable features on offer include LED headlight with DRL, USB-C port, and new aluminium supporting brackets.
Powering the Triumph Scrambler 900 is a 900 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin, 8 valve, SOHC engine with a 270-degree firing order. This unit pushes out 64.1 bhp at 7,250 rpm and a peak torque of 80 Nm at 3,250 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox via a slip and assist clutch.

Since the Triumph Scrambler 900 is on sale in India, it makes sense for the updated version to make its way to our soil sometime in the near future. The current model is priced at ₹10.75 lakh (ex-showroom). We expect a bump of around ₹2 lakh in prices over the previous model.
