In the competitive 125 cc scooter market, the new Yamaha Fascino faces stiff rivalry from major players like Honda and Suzuki.
Yamaha India recently launched a new iteration of the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid scooter. This latest version introduces a modernised look and several upgraded features to the well-known scooter. The refreshed Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid comes in a variety of trims and colour options. It is priced between ₹76,500-95,200 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Here are new scooter’s top highlights:
Designed in India
The 2026 model features a noticeable aesthetic overhaul, specifically at the rear. It introduces a newly sculpted tail section and the distinctive ‘Viconic’ taillight design. A major highlight is that the visual enhancements, including the new decals and the redesigned bodywork, were entirely conceptualised and designed in India by Yamaha’s dedicated R&D team to meet the specific tastes of Indian consumers.
Hybrid Powertrain
The scooter retains its efficient 125 cc Blue Core Hybrid engine, supported by a Smart Motor Generator (SMG). This system provides "Enhanced Power Assist," which offers a power boost during initial acceleration, load carrying, and incline climbing while maintaining high fuel efficiency.
High-Tech ‘S’ Variant
The top-of-the-line Fascino S variant introduces premium digital tech for the tech-savvy commuter, including:
A Color TFT Instrument Cluster
Turn-by-Turn Navigation
An "Answer Back" function to help locate the scooter in crowded parking lots
Practicality
Yamaha has optimised the scooter for city life by trimming the overall length to 1780 mm for better maneuverability. It also features a 21-litre under-seat storage, side stand engine cut-off for safety, and E20 fuel compatibility.
