The Mahindra BE 6 was shown to the public for the first time since its launch in December last year.
You, the people, have chosen the Mahindra BE 6 as the best car to be displayed at the Auto Expo 2025, and for that, it won the People's Choice Best Car Award at the Acko Drive Best of Show at Auto Expo 2025. Acko Drive’s editor-in-chief, Siddharth Vinayak Patankar, has been key in organising the awards where we recognise the best candidates at the Auto Expos, a tradition that he has been doing so for a number of editions. The jury for this award included eminent names like Yogendra Pratap, Renuka Kirpalani, Hani Musthafa, members of the Acko Drive team and of course, the public.
The BE 6 was shown to the public for the first time and is one of the two new Mahindra electric vehicles (EVs) that it launched recently, built on its new INGLO platform and it comes with an eye-catching, radical design that has never been seen before in the mass-market segment. That’s why it won, not just the award, but the people’s hearts too.
There were other nominees, too, like the Tata Sierra and the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara. However, it was the Mahindra BE 6 that the audience at the Auto Expo 2025 loved the most. Hoards of crowds were drawn to the numerous BE 6s displayed at the Mahindra pavilion, all of which, were open for the crowds to experience them.
The Mahindra BE 6 is priced between ₹18.90 - 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It gets two battery pack options – a 59 kWh and a 79 kWh – and has a claimed range of more than 500 km on a full charge. To know more about the BE 6, head here to read our review.
