2024 Acko Drive Awards: RE Wins Best PR & Comm. Team of the Year (Bike)

Royal Enfield won the biggest award during the Communications Jury meet, bagging the 2024 Acko Drive Awards PR & Communications Team of the Year (Bike). Royal Enfield used a three-pronged approach in marketing its new and updated products in 2023. 

The Indian marque had new product launches planned for 2023, along with a plethora of community-based events like the Motoverse, Scramfest, Himalayan Odyssey, and the likes. Royal Enfield also launched four new motorcycles (Himalayan 450, Shotgun 650, Super Meteor 650 and Bullet 350) as well as updated versions of the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650.

The TOTMs is a unique award in the automobile industry as it is the only one to have a category dedicated to communications and marketing campaigns by OEMs. The objective of this category is to ascertain the best PR & Communications team which established a problem that they set to change through PR activities. Furthermore, the intent of the category is clear – the campaign should not be confused with marketing activities unless the PR team leads the initiative. This category saw seven participants in total, and of which, Royal Enfield emerged victorious.
