Actor Ranveer Singh has added the BMW i7 facelift limousine to his garage. The movie star was recently announced as the brand ambassador for the Bavarian carmaker in India, alongside the new 7 Series and i7 facelifts making their way to the market. The actor has now taken the i7 electric sedan home, making it the second EV in his garage after the Hummer EV. The BMW i7 facelift is priced at ₹1.95 crore (ex-showroom), and is one of the more opulent EVs you can get your hands on.

The BMW i7 becomes the stately choice in his garage at the moment with the luxury limousine packing a host of tech, creature comforts, and some serious electric power. The i7 50 xDrive M Sport packs 449 bhp and 600 Nm of peak torque coming from its two electric motors. The saloon can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 5.5 seconds with a top speed of 210 kmph. The model is equipped with a 112.5 kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed range of 728 km (WLTP) on a single charge.

The more powerful i7 M70 xDrive packs 671 bhp and 1015 Nm, which can be pushed to 1100 Nm in the Sport Boost mode. The more powerful version can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 250 kmph. The range is lowered to 686 km (WLTP) on the i7 M70, given the extra firepower.

That said, it’s the cabin that gets all the creature comforts on the i7, right from the BMW Panoramic Vision display, which replaces the traditional instrument cluster on the dashboard. There’s a  17.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that runs the latest BMW OS X, while the front passenger gets a third 14.6-inch screen to keep them occupied.

There’s no dearth of screens at the rear either with the 31.3-inch entertainment display that’s nothing short of a theatrical experience, while you get powered doors that close on their own at the press of a button. The cabin also packs a Dolby Atmos-powered sound system.

Singh is an avid petrolhead, and has had a rather impressive collection of cars right from the Aston Martin Rapide S, Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, Range Rover, Mercedes-Benz V-Class LWB, Toyota Fortuner, to the Lamborghini Urus.
